La Métairie des Songes chambres d’hôtes lies within the beautiful countryside of the Lot department in the Occitanie region (formerly Midi-Pyrénées), south-west France. An elegant stone-built ‘Quercynoise’ (a character house typical of the Lot) which has stood within the heart of the hamlet of Flagel since 1780. Set amongst 4.25 hectares of garden and protected woodland, our house overlooks an enchanting private valley. The garden descends through mature fruit trees down to the meadow, leading you along pretty pathways into the surrounding woods.
The valley is an unspoilt haven for butterflies, orchids, birds & wildlife. Enjoy the sun and stunning views from the large south-facing terrace with tables and ample outdoor seating.
Within la Métairie, we welcome you to a delightful level of relaxed refinement in our large sitting room with copious comfortable chairs, wood burner, central heating and free high-speed fibre Wi-Fi connection throughout the house.
Our delicious continental breakfasts that include finely prepared individual fruit salad, home-baked pâtisserie, our own fruit preserves and savouries, are served on the panoramic terrace in fine weather or in the comfort of the dining room on chillier mornings.

We visit the bedrooms, the gardens, the woodlands and of course, the culinary achievements from the table d’hôtes served six nights per week. Everything that embodies our home, our lives and all that we offer to guests from very early Spring to mid Autumn.
